TL;DR:
- Facebook comments, answered in DMs
Someone comments "Price" on your post and your AI assistant replies in their Messenger inbox. Off by default; watch every comment or only the keywords you choose. - Google Drive is now an Action
Your assistant can search, get, upload, update, and delete files, or create a folder, in the middle of a conversation. - Bring your own tools
Any MCP server or OpenAPI spec becomes an Action, with every tool and endpoint kept up to date on its own.
Friday again. This week your assistant learned to work the comments section, and Actions opened up to every tool you already run.
Your AI assistant replies to Facebook comments through DMs
Every post you publish collects the same comments: "Price?", "Interested!", "Info". Until now, each one was a lead sitting in public, waiting for someone on your team to reply. Now your assistant picks them up and answers in a private Messenger conversation, where it can send prices, answer questions, and book, like it already does for inbound DMs.

Three of these four comments are leads. The assistant knows which.
It is off by default. Under your assistant, go to Channels, open Messenger, then Manage. Set Reply to comments to Comments with keywords and add your words under Keywords, one tag each. Capitals and accents do not matter. Every comment is there too, but a keyword list keeps the assistant on the leads and off the "Beautiful!" comments, and messaging everyone who comments is exactly the pattern that gets accounts restricted. Our guide to Facebook comment auto reply without getting banned covers the safe setup.
If you choose "Every comment", you can still tell the assistant, in its instructions, which comments to skip, like a complaint you would rather a person handle.

Reply to comments lives in the channel settings: every comment, or only the keywords you list.
The reply opens as a normal Messenger conversation, with a note that it started from a comment on your Page. From there the assistant does what it does everywhere else.

The comment stays public. The sale happens in the inbox.
Facebook Page comments are live today, and Instagram comments are coming soon too. Setting up the channel for the first time? Our Facebook Messenger setup guide walks through the connection, and the Comment Replies docs cover every setting.
Google Drive joins Actions
Google Drive is now an Action your assistant can use mid-conversation: Search Files, Get File, Download File, Upload File, Update File, Delete File, and Create Folder. A customer asks for the price list, the assistant finds it in Drive and sends it. A customer sends a photo of the damage or a signed form, the assistant saves it to the Drive folder you chose for that kind of file.

Seven Google Drive operations, each one a switch on the Actions tab.
Add it from the assistant's Actions tab, connect the Google account, and turn on only the operations you want that assistant to have.
MCP server and OpenAPI spec support
Actions now take the tools you already have. On the Actions tab, click the arrow on the right of the Add Action button and you will find Custom, with three ways in:
- MCP server
Point the assistant at a Model Context Protocol server and it gets all of that server's tools, kept up to date as the server changes. - OpenAPI spec
Give it a spec URL and every endpoint becomes something the assistant can call, kept up to date as the spec changes. - HTTP request
One call you define: URL, method, body. For the single endpoint that does not need a spec.

Three ways to bring your own tools into an assistant, next to the built-in apps.
If your team runs an internal API, a Zapier MCP, or a vendor that publishes a spec, the assistant can now act on it without anyone writing glue code. Where Actions fit in a sales flow: AI agents for sales.
A friendly WhatsApp reminder: 19 days left
From October 1, Meta bills every reply your business sends on WhatsApp, and a WhatsApp Business Account without a payment method stops delivering that day. Add a card by September 30; it takes two minutes in Meta Business Suite, and our step-by-step guide shows every click.
The good news still holds: the first 1,000 replies each month, per phone number, are free. Meta only charges from reply 1,001, and every country's rate is in our WhatsApp API pricing guide. This is Meta's fee, billed by Meta, and it has nothing to do with your Invent plan.
Why it matters
Comments are where buying intent shows up first, and now the reply happens in private, in seconds, without a person watching the post. And with Drive, MCP, and OpenAPI, the list of things your assistant can do stops being our list and starts being yours.
With love,
