Blog/Changelog/#030: Suppression List, Webhooks & Cheaper GPT-5.6

July 31, 2026

TL;DR:

  • Sender reputation, protected: a global Suppression List with bulk import, and bounces, spam complaints, and unsubscribes added automatically.
  • Your stack stays in sync: webhooks fire for major events, with special care for the negative ones (block, unsubscribe, suppressed).
  • Every conversation, portable: copy or download any thread as a transcript, and unfinished replies now save as drafts.
  • Cheaper models to run it all: OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Terra and Luna join the picker, with Luna fresh off an 80 percent price cut.

Fridays are for shipping. This week is about protection: your delivery, your records, and your bill.

Suppression List

Import emails or phone numbers in bulk into a global suppression list. Bounces, spam complaints, and unsubscribes are added automatically, and suppressed contacts never receive broadcasts or automated messages. Inbox replies are not affected: if they write to you, you can still answer.

You will find it under Audience → Suppression List.

Import opt-outs in bulk; bounces and complaints join the list automatically.

Webhooks for the events that matter

Webhooks now fire for major events, with special care for the negative ones: block, unsubscribe, suppressed. Point them at any endpoint under Settings → Webhooks and your CRM or stack stays in sync the moment a customer opts out.

The Invent Add Webhook modal with an endpoint URL field and event checkboxes for conversation and broadcast events including blocked, unsubscribed, and suppressed.

Negative events reach your stack the moment they happen.

Transcripts

Copy any conversation as Markdown or download it from the chat menu. Records for disputes, handoffs to teammates, or your own archive, one click away.

Drafts

Every conversation now keeps your unfinished reply as a draft. Step away, come back, finish the thought.

Canned replies with attachments

Saved replies can now carry images and files. The product shot goes out with the pitch, in one insert.

Cheaper GPT-5.6 Luna and Terra in the picker

OpenAI's GPT-5.6 family is live in Invent, right as OpenAI cut its prices: Luna by 80 percent and Terra by 20. Terra is the balanced option for everyday work. Luna is built for cost-sensitive, high-volume workloads, with a 1M+ token context window and reasoning support. Pick either from the model selector on any assistant, or leave it on Auto and let the picker route per task.

Why it matters

Growth without protection backfires: one bad broadcast to a stale list can hurt every send after it. This batch keeps your delivery clean automatically, tells your stack the moment someone opts out, gives you a portable record of every conversation, and lowers the price of the models doing the heavy lifting.

Import your opt-out list, point a webhook at your CRM, and let the cheaper models carry the volume. Your future sends will thank you.

With love,
The Invent Team
