Launch day is coming! Tables are coming soon to Invent. Here's what they'll do for your business.
TL;DR
- Everything that happens in your conversations with clients becomes a record in Invent Tables, for your whole team. Agents help you handle the follow-up.
- A no-code database for your business: leads, deals, orders, bookings, tickets, anything you track today in a spreadsheet.
- It fills itself in. Your AI assistant creates and updates records from every conversation on WhatsApp, Instagram, email, and your website. No copy and paste, no integration to set up.
- Six ways to see your work: table, board, calendar, timeline, list, and gallery, with filters, sorting, and groups.
- Agents keep it tidy. An agent can fill in missing fields, update statuses, and chase what went quiet, on a schedule.
- Bring what you have. Import a CSV in a few clicks, and export any time.
Every business runs on two things: conversations and records. The conversations happen on WhatsApp, Instagram, and email. The records live in a spreadsheet or a CRM that someone has to update by hand. Somewhere between the two, a lead gets missed, a status goes stale, and nobody knows which version is right.
Invent Tables puts both in one place. Your records live next to your conversations, and the AI that answers your customers keeps the records up to date.
What is Invent Tables?
Invent Tables is a database you build without code. Create a table, add the fields you need, and fill it with records: a row for each lead, deal, order, booking, or ticket.
Fields come in the types a business needs: text, numbers, dates, choices, files, and links to your contacts, so every record knows which customer it belongs to. Your contacts and conversations show up as tables too, so you can see and filter everything in one place.
Not sure where to start? Ask Invent to build the table for you. Describe what you track, like "a table for my real estate leads with budget, area, and stage", and it creates the table and its fields. See everything it does on the Invent Tables page.
Six ways to see your work
The same records, shown the way your week needs them:
- Table: the full spreadsheet view, every field in its column.
- Board: a kanban board, where each card moves through your stages, like New, Contacted, Booked, and Won.
- Calendar: records with a date, laid out on a calendar.
- Timeline: records with a start and an end, like projects or reservations.
- List: a clean list for quick scanning.
- Gallery: cards with images, for products, properties, or listings.
Filter, sort, and group any view, and save it for your team. A sales lead sees the board, an assistant manager sees the calendar, and both look at the same data.

The CRM that fills itself in
This is the part spreadsheets and most CRMs can't do. In Invent, your AI assistant writes to your tables while it talks to your customers.
- A new message updates the record. Daniela writes on WhatsApp that her team wants the annual plan for 12 people. The assistant updates her contact, moves her deal to Proposal, and sets the value to $2,100.
- The record moves as the conversation moves. When she confirms, the deal moves to Won. Your table is always current, and nobody had to touch it.
- Every chat lands in the right place. Each card keeps the need, the next step, and the conversation, so anyone on your team can pick it up.
There's no integration to connect and no sync to break. The conversations and the records live in the same product, so the AI works with your data directly.

A real example: finding and reaching new customers
Here's how one team runs outreach on a single table. Each card is a business they want as a customer, with its type, country, city, and where the lead came from.
- Pipeline: a board with four stages, New, Queued, Contacted, and Replied. Cards move as the work happens.
- Saved views for each job: Follow-ups, Not contacted, Reach by WhatsApp, Reach by email, and Customers. Each view is the same table, filtered for one task.
- Agents do the legwork. An agent researches new businesses on the web and adds them as New. Another one sends the first message by WhatsApp or email, after your OK, and moves the card to Contacted.
- The conversation moves the card. When a business answers, your assistant picks up the chat and the card moves to Replied, ready for your team.

Agents keep your tables tidy
Assistants fill your tables during conversations. Agents take care of them the rest of the time, on their own.
- Fill in what's missing. An agent can research new leads on the web and complete the empty fields.
- Keep statuses honest. A Payment Chaser agent finds unpaid invoices every morning, updates their status, and drafts the reminders for your OK.
- Chase what went quiet. A Follow-ups agent finds deals with no activity and reports back.
You decide what an agent may change, and it asks before anything risky.
Work on your tables by just asking
You don't have to click through every record. Your AI can work on your tables for you, in three ways.
- Ask Invent. The AI copilot built into Invent works on your tables from a chat. Ask it to build a new table and its fields, update many records at once, like "mark every lead from Bogotá as Contacted", or sum up where your pipeline stands.
- Tag an agent in a comment. On any record, write a comment and tag an agent, like "@Payment Chaser send Daniela a reminder for her invoice". The agent picks it up and does the job, and your team sees the work in the same thread.
- Claude. Connect Invent to Claude, and Claude can search your tables, read any record, add or update records, and leave comments. Ask it "which deals went quiet this month?" or "add these 20 leads to my Outreach table". You choose View or Write for each organization, and Claude never gets more access than your own role. Our guide to Invent in Claude shows how to connect it.

Bring the data you already have
Moving from a spreadsheet takes minutes. Import a CSV file, match its columns to your fields, and your records are in. Need the data somewhere else? Export any table or view to CSV at any time. Your data stays yours.
You can also give each record its own ID, like LEAD-104 or ORDER-2291, so your team can refer to it in a chat or a call.
Built for your team
- Live updates. When a teammate or the AI changes a record, everyone sees it right away.
- Comments on records. Talk about a deal or an order right where it lives, and tag a teammate or an agent to hand off the next step.
- Roles and permissions. Decide who can see and edit your tables.
- Audit logs. On the Business plan, see who changed what in your tables, and when: a new field, a renamed stage, an edit made through the API.

What Invent Tables costs
Every organization gets one table for free. Up to 25 tables come with the Business plan, $29 a month, and Tables are billed by use, like the rest of Invent. Your assistant's and agents' work on your tables counts like any other AI reply or run, and you can set monthly spending limits.
What you can run on Invent Tables
- Sales pipeline: leads and deals on a board, moved by your assistant as conversations progress.
- Lead management: every new inquiry from every channel in one table, with no lead lost.
- Support queue: tickets with status and owner, created from customer messages.
- Onboarding: each new client's steps, tracked from welcome to go-live.
- Projects: tasks on a timeline, with dates and owners.
- Operations: orders, bookings, inventory, or anything your business tracks today in a spreadsheet.

Coming from Airtable or Notion?
Airtable and Notion are great for organizing information, but someone has to type it in. In Invent, everything that happens in your conversations with clients keeps a record in Tables: the lead from WhatsApp, the booking from Instagram, the order by email. Your team sees it all in one place, and agents help you handle what comes next, like following up or chasing a payment.
Moving is simple: export a CSV from Airtable or Notion, and import it into Invent.
How to set up your first table
- Create a table, or ask Invent to create it for you.
- Add your fields: the details you track for each record.
- Import your data from a CSV, or start fresh.
- Pick your views: a board for the pipeline, a calendar for bookings.
- Turn on record actions for your assistant, so it creates and updates records from conversations.

What we're building at Invent
At Invent, we think your customer data should live where your conversations happen.
- Assistants answer your customers on every channel.
- Tables hold the records those conversations create.
- Agents keep the records tidy and the work moving.
- People stay in charge, with one inbox, one set of records, and approvals for what matters.
It's our multiplayer vision in practice: people and AI working side by side on your whole business.
Stop updating the CRM by hand
Your team shouldn't spend Friday afternoon copying chats into a spreadsheet. With Invent Tables, the conversation is the update. Set up one table for the thing you track most, turn on record actions, and watch it fill itself in. See Invent Tables.
