Audio support for all models
Customers love voice notes. Until now, only some AI models could hear them, so an assistant on another model saw a file and little else. Now Invent transcribes every voice note and the sound of every video once, and hands the text to whatever model your assistant runs on. GPT, Claude, Gemini: they all get the words.
The assistant answers the voice note, and your team reads it without pressing play.
Your team sees the transcript right under the player in the Inbox, so nobody needs headphones to know what the customer asked.
Videos, even on models that can't watch them
Here's the part we're proudest of. A customer sends a video of a leaking pipe, a dress they want in another size, or a dent on a delivery. Invent transcribes what's said, and writes a short description of what the video shows. Models that can't watch video read that description, so your assistant still knows what it's looking at. Models that can watch video still get the full video too.
A silent video gets its description, and the Inbox shows it in italics where a transcript would go.
Conversational AI for every way your customers talk
Conversational AI should meet people where they are, not ask them to adapt. Some customers type. Some send a voice note on the way to work. Some just record a video and say "this one". Your assistant now understands all three, text, audio and video, on whatever model you choose.
That's better for your customers: no one has to type out a long question, read a small screen, or explain a problem a 10-second video shows better. People who find typing slow, who don't read or write comfortably, or who see poorly get the same quick answer as everyone else.
And it's better for your team. Every voice note and video has its text right there, so teammates who are deaf, hard of hearing or working somewhere loud follow every conversation, and anyone can scan a chat in seconds instead of pressing play.

Transcriptions are on for every assistant from today. Prefer it off for one assistant? The switch sits in its settings, right under Model. It uses a small amount of AI per file.
