Why we called it Invent
Search the word and you will find a few of us: a venture fund, an analytics firm, a brand studio. We are the one at useinvent.com, and we picked the name for what it means, not for how it ranks.
To invent is to make something for the first time. The dictionary adds "through the use of imagination or ingenious thinking," which is the part we care about. Building and automating come after. Inventing starts with a person who looks at what exists, sees what is missing, and makes it.
Every business started that way. A dentist opened a practice nobody had opened on that street. A realtor decided to sell homes to families relocating from another country. An agency found a way to run WhatsApp for forty restaurants at once. None of that came from a manual.
Then the messages arrive. Hundreds a day, on five apps, asking the same things at 11pm. The person who invented the business becomes the person answering "do you have this in blue?" for the four-hundredth time, and the inventing stops.

Where we started
We spent years building workflows for operations teams in gaming and fintech. The tools demanded technical skills those teams did not have and were never going to need. The first breakthrough was natural language: people could describe what they needed in their own words. The harder part was trust. Nobody wants AI running unsupervised.
So we built the product we could not find. Our first post, in August 2025, called Invent "the multiplayer company," because our gaming background taught us that the best technology brings people together instead of replacing them. A year later, that is still the sentence we would put on the door.
Where we're going
