TL;DR
- Segment actions: two new actions let your assistant organize contacts mid-conversation.
- Refreshed sidebar: a cleaner layout that gets you anywhere in one click.
- Muse Spark 1.1: Meta's new multimodal model, now in your picker.
- Plus: API key rotation and search in the org selector.
It's Friday, and that means fresh updates from Invent. Here's what shipped this week.
Segment actions for your assistant
Two new actions, Update Contact Segments and List Segments, let your assistant organize contacts while it talks to them. A client mentions they're relocating? They're on your urgent list before the conversation ends. Paired with AI-controlled fields, your segments stay current on their own and your broadcasts target the right people without manual cleanup.

The new segment actions: your assistant adds or removes segments on a contact mid-conversation, with the values AI-controlled.
A refreshed sidebar
Your workspace navigation got a redesign: a cleaner layout, sub-sections one click away, and a more minimalist look that shows more of what matters per view. Expect the whole interface to keep getting quieter and denser in the coming weeks.

The refreshed sidebar: everything one click closer.
Muse Spark 1.1, a new model in your picker
Meta released Muse Spark 1.1 this Thursday, a multimodal model built for agentic work, and it was live in Invent the same day. Pick it from the model selector on any assistant, or let Auto decide when a message deserves it.

On Meta's published benchmarks, Muse Spark 1.1 leads on agentic tool use, choosing the right action and carrying a task through, which is exactly what an assistant needs to book, look things up, and hand off to a human.

We put it to work too: an 8-message customer conversation with a live booking and a human handoff, on our own assistant, and it handled every step correctly. If you want to dig into what a conversation like that costs to run, we broke it down in our freshly updated AI chatbot costs guide.
API key rotation
You can now rotate or regenerate any API key from settings. The old token stops working immediately, so a leaked or retiring key is a ten-second fix instead of a support ticket. Standard security hygiene, now self-serve.

Rotate any key from settings; the old token stops working the moment you confirm.
Search in the org selector
If you manage many organizations (looking at you, agencies), the org selector now has search. Type a few letters, jump straight to the right client workspace.

Meta Business Partner
A reminder that Invent is a Meta Business Partner. We wrote up what that means and how to verify any Meta Business Partner.
Why it matters
Access to new models the moment they launch means your assistant improves as fast as the industry does. The rest of the batch removes friction where you feel it daily: navigation, contact organization, key management. Speed compounds.
With love,
