TL;DR:
- Reactions are here: react to any message in the Inbox with any emoji, and your AI assistant reacts too.
- Multiplayer by default: AI and human reactions live side by side in the same conversation, built on the same foundation as everything multiplayer we're cooking.
- Across your channels: send and receive on web chat, Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger; on TikTok, customer reactions come through to your Inbox.
- TikTok channel, now in the US: US-registered Business Accounts can connect and let their assistant answer every DM.
Some messages don't need a paragraph back. This week your Inbox learned the smallest, most human reply there is.
Reactions, from your AI and your team
Every message in the Inbox can now carry emoji reactions. Tap the reaction icon on any message, search or pick from your recents, and it lands instantly on the conversation, for the customer and for everyone on your team.
The part we're most excited about: your AI assistant reacts too. When a customer says "this is a great chat," the assistant can drop a 😊 the way a person would, a small acknowledgment that keeps the conversation warm without another block of text. And it happens where it matters most: in the middle of a sale. Here's a real exchange, the customer accepts the combo upsell and the 🎉 lands exactly where the yes happened:

Upsell accepted, order closed, reaction sent. The conversation stays warm and the thread stays clean.
Multiplayer by default
Reactions are fully multiplayer under the hood: every reaction is an event in the conversation, whoever made it. Your team reacts from the Inbox, the assistant reacts in the moment, and the customer just sees one conversation that feels alive. In this reservation, the same customer message carries a 💗 from the team and a 🎉 from the assistant at the same time, and that's exactly the foundation the next generation of multiplayer agents will stand on:

One message, two reactions: the team's 💗 and the assistant's 🎉, side by side.
You decide when it reacts
None of this is a black box. When and how the assistant reacts is steered the same way everything on Invent is: in plain words. One paragraph in its instructions is enough, react 🎉 when an order is confirmed, 😍 when someone compliments a drink, and react instead of replying when a short acknowledgment is all a message needs:

No settings maze: when to react, and with what, is one paragraph of instructions.
Where reactions work
- Web chat, Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger: send and receive. Your assistant and your team react, and customer reactions flow in.
- TikTok: receive only, for now. The moment TikTok supports sending, it's on.
TikTok channel, now in the US
One more door opened this week: the TikTok channel is now available for US-registered Business Accounts. Connect your account and your assistant answers every TikTok DM, with the same ten-minute setup in our TikTok DM automation guide.

US Business Accounts can now connect TikTok DMs to their assistant.
Why it matters
Half of good customer service is acknowledgment, and not every acknowledgment deserves a paragraph. Reactions give your assistant and your team a lighter register: warmer conversations, less noise in the thread, and one more way the AI behaves like someone who actually works at your business.
Stay tuned, the multiplayer foundation this ships on has more coming.
With love,
The Invent Team
