Frequently Asked Questions

What is the knowledge base?

One library of your website, files and notes. Your assistants search it to answer customers with your real prices, hours and policies.

What can I add?

Files such as PDF, Word and Excel (up to 50 MB each), videos and audio, pasted text, and websites: one page, or up to 512 pages per site.

Does it update when my website changes?

Not by itself. Re-crawl the site in one click: new and changed pages are read again, and pages that no longer exist are removed.

Can each assistant use different content?

Yes. Each assistant reads everything by default, or only the content you select.

How much does it cost?

Adding content costs $0.0005 per passage, a short block of text. Each new search costs $0.0005, and the same search again within 2 hours is free.

How much can I store?

100 MB on the free plan, 2 GB on Business and 10 GB on Enterprise, with up to 2,048 items per organization.

Who can search my content?

Only the assistants and agents in your organization. It is stored on the same SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure as the rest of Invent.
